If you haven't heard the news yet, well, you obviously don't do a very good job of Facebook stalking Eric and I. 

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!

We are so thrilled to announce that Baby Sogard will be making their grand entrance in December of this year. Eric and I are so thankful to have been blessed with this little miracle. We have no doubt that this baby's plan was divinely inspired, and we could not feel more lucky. It's pretty incredible to think that God has trusted us with this precious life. I'm also pretty certain God is a baseball fan, and didn't want Eric to miss any of the season (due Dec. 7). [Offseason baby! Can I get a what what!]

Mom update: Sick. Very sick. I've tried everything in the book, don't you worry. Candies, mints, ginger everything, sea bands, and my doc prescribed me anti-nausea meds. Some help for a bit (which is better than nothing), but I'm really just waiting to get out of this first trimester. Besides that, I'm well, baby is healthy, and that's all we can ask for!

Dad update: Sick. Very sick... of taking care of me. Just kidding! Kind of. Of course Eric will never admit to that, and he is the most amazing caretaker ever, but I have no doubt that he's just a little tired of my complaining (and vomiting). He's awesome, but you all already know that.

My belly is popping out already (no there's not 2 in there) and we're looking forward to watching this baby grow strong and healthy! Thank you all for your sweet words of love and encouragement, I'll be sure to keep you all updated through here. Love you all!!
