Christmas in Hawaii. Doesn't get much better than that! We had the greatest trip with my family on Kauai over Christmas. Saydee LOVED the beach and the water, and we had lots of fun adventures. CJ and I surfed, we all snorkeled, Eric and I went scuba diving, a fun luau, and we all went on some beautiful hikes.
On Christmas Eve, Saydee and I made my Nana's famous oatmeal cookies. Her and I used to make them together all the time, and they were my absolute favorite thing she made. I love that I was able to start this tradition with Saydee, and am grateful that I will get to spend this night each year reminding her what an amazing woman her GGB was. They are memories with my Nana, and with Saydee that I will never forget.
