Ahhhh...one of my favorite parts of baseball season, the all-star break! Halfway-ish through the season, we are blessed with a 4 day break from baseball (not that we don't love baseball, but hallelujah!). This is all assuming that your baseball player is not actually playing in the all-star game, which I have no doubt will be us one day ;)
Typically Eric and I stay home during this break, lounge around the house, and pretty much do nothing. We enjoy being lazy. I guess we were feeling adventurous this year and decided to take a little trip and spend some much needed quality alone time together. We packed up the car and the 4 of us took off to South Lake Tahoe.
Neither of us had ever been to Tahoe, and we really had the most amazing time! We rented a super cute little house on VRBO that had a nice big backyard for Winnie to roam around in, and the weather was perfect. We just relaxed and had a great time.

We had so much fun relaxing and enjoying life outside of baseball. Full days together are extremely hard to come by, so we are extremely thankful we were able to spend this time together. Before we know it the season will be over, and our family will be +1. We can't wait.
