Sacramento

We've been here in Sacramento for a few days now, or has it been a week? All of my days seem to run together nowadays. It had been almost a year since we've been here, and although we're kinda sad to be back in AAA, we love the area and the stadium! Besides living in a hotel, we have lots of fun here. The weather is perfect and there are a lot of awesome running trails etc for me to enjoy while Eric's busy working. For the second year in a row, Eric's little cousin Elana has gotten to sing the national anthem at one of his Rivercats games. She's incredible and we're so glad we have been here to hear it both times!

We always try to take advantage of our day games, meaning we get an entire night off together. One of our favorite places to go here is Old Town Sacramento. There are a bunch of cute little shops and restaurants, so we enjoy walking the cobblestone paths and eating lots of goodies!

Eric's been out of his last couple games with a tight quad, but he's getting better and will hopefully be playing again soon. Sometimes baseball can be kind of boring. It could also just be that I've been to 50+ games a year for the last 5 years, who knows! What I'm getting at is that the games are SO boring when he's not playing, and I know he doesn't enjoy being hurt. So hopefully he'll be back out there and healthy very soon!
